Eligibility


We welcome start-ups (established less than 8 years) focused on:

• Smart Healthcare 
• High-End Medical Devices 
• Regenerative Medicine 
• Drug Delivery 
• Other Biomedical Innovations ​

Eligible Applicants Include:
• Resident Members: Biomedical SMEs, micro-enterprises, or individuals.

  2. Must be a legal entity registered in Taiwan (or a registered foreign branch).
    Applicants awaiting registration must obtain their official certificate within one (1) year of move-in.​
  3. Ecosystem Partners: Professional service firms (e.g., legal, finance, marketing) that support our members.
  4. Non-biomedical companies are limited to this category.​


Application 


Required Documents for Incubator Applicants

  2. Proof of Business Registration;
    For individuals applying: Please submit one copy of your personal ID (e.g., passport) and proof of your academic and professional background (e.g., CV or diplomas).
    - (For those pending approval): If you have already applied to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) for company registration but have not yet received approval, you may temporarily submit your MOEA application documents. However, you must obtain and provide a copy of your official Business Registration Certificate within six (6) months of moving in.
    - (For individuals): Individuals who have not yet applied for company registration must submit their application to the MOEA within six (6) months of moving in and must obtain their Business Registration Certificate within one (1) year of moving in.

Residency Reviw 


I. Review Points
Applications will be evaluated based on the following key criteria:

  • The development potential of the core technology and products.
  • The soundness and completeness of the management team.
  • The clarity of product market or technology objectives.
  • Proof of financial capacity to cover all residency-related fees.

II. Review Committee Meeting
The applying enterprise or individual will be required to present to the review committee. This will consist of a 10-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session.

III. Contract Signing

 - Contracting: Complete the contract signing and pay the two-month security deposit within one (1) month of receiving the notification.
- Move-in: Officially move in within three (3) months of the notification.
- Penalty: Failure to move in by the deadline, without prior approved extension, will be considered a forfeiture of residency rights. A fee equivalent to one month's space usage fee will be deducted from your security deposit.

Departure​ 


I. Graduation and Contribution
Enterprises that have completed their business plan objectives, whose contracts have expired, or that are departing early, must consult with the Center to establish a contribution model and complete the official graduation and departure procedures.
- The Center reserves the right to follow up on the enterprise's operational status for three (3) years post-departure to ensure the contribution agreement is fulfilled.
- Data related to the enterprise may be provided to the competent authorities for reference.

II. Early Termination of Contract
Resident enterprises must conduct their primary business in accordance with the business plan approved during the review. The Review Committee may resolve to terminate the contract early and require the enterprise to move out by a specified deadline under any of the following conditions:


  • The actual business operations do not align with the project submitted in the application.​
  • The enterprise or its personnel are found to be involved in illegal activities.
  • Failure to pay contractually required fees by the due date.
  • Violation of the contract or the Center's regulations, with no corrective action taken after receiving written notification.
  • Any other major violation.​


III. Move-Out Deadline
Upon the expiration of the residency term or when other departure conditions are met, the enterprise must complete all move-out procedures within one (1) month of receiving the notification.​
